First Impression Teams
Welcome Team
This team makes everyone feel welcome so they can courageously connect with Christ and community. Serves include greeting indoors or outdoors and hosting the information kiosk, ensuring guests receive any information they need about Courageous.
*Great for people who are "the life of the party" and naturally encouraging others.

Hospitality Team
This team uses the gift of hospitality to help people courageously connect to Christ and community. From brewing courtesy coffee and preparing snacks for the Dream Team, to keeping our lobby and community spaces neat and tidy on Sunday morning.

The Coffee Bar
This team serves in our campus Coffee Bar by providing excellent customer service and quality drinks to members, guests and Dream Team.

Safety
The Safety team proactively maintains the safety and order of God's house and property so that people can courageously connect with Christ and community.

SAFETY | Great for people who are direct, efficient, and like "people watching." Additional requirements: 21+ y/o, background check
PARKING | This team is the very first impression for our guests and proactively maintains a safe and orderly parking lot. Think smiling, waving, and assisting with directing traffic flow. Perfect for people who enjoy being outdoors and quick interactions.
USHERS | This team proactively maintains a safe and orderly worship experience. This serve includes seating guests, receiving the offering, and maintaining a comfortable and controlled environment.

The events team curates fun, creative, and excellent events that compel people to courageously connect to Christ and community. This can involve tactical event planning, constructing bold photo ops, or joyful event hosting. This team has serve opportunities outside of the standard Sunday morning time frame - set up and tear down, for example.

Social Media
This team develops engaging and relevant content that communicates the heart and mission of Courageous across various social platforms.

Photo + Video Capture
This team use the skills of photography and videography to create a vibrant digital first impression by capturing the heart of our church (like everything you see on this page!) in real time.
*Requirements: interview for placement, background check, must be 16+

Courageous Kids
This team courageously connects kids to Christ and community. CKids offers multiple serve areas! All serve areas have a leader who helps to lead and manage the classroom. (This means you won't have to be "in charge!")
*Requirements: background check, 2 references, confidential questionnaire, interview, agreement to mandated reporter statutes.
Serve options include:
* Nursery (0-2 year olds) | Cuddles, diapers, playtime and snacks
* Pre-K (3 year olds-Kindergarten) | Fun songs and dancing, crafts and storytime
* Elementary (Grades 1st-5th) | Big church, small scale! Group singing, storytelling, fun games, and small groups.
* Lights and Sound | Manages the sound, lighting, and screens for the elementary classroom
* Check-in | Helps Courageous families settle into a safe and secure environment

* JHigh | Serves middle school, 6th-8th grade on Sunday mornings in a classroom setting that provides small group interaction, games, hang out time and Biblical teaching.
*Must be at least 10th grade or older to serve in JHigh.
* YTH Night | Serves on Wednesday nights to support and lead our 6th-12th grade students in all areas including our welcome team, small groups, or production. Requires 4-6 weeks of consistent participation in the Sunday JHigh classroom.

This team compels people to courageously connect with Christ through the gift of musicianship and excellence.
*Requirements: background check, completion of Worship Team interest form, and successful virtual audition. Serve begins at 7A on Sundays and attending Thursday evening rehearsals is an expectation.

Courageous Production
This team creates excellent, distraction-free experiences that allow people to connect to Christ and community. Responsible for the audio, lights, cameras, and screens during Worship Experiences and events.
*Great for people who are direct and efficient, or quiet and reserved. If you like being techy or problem solving, this is the team for you! Training is provided.
*Requirements: Serve begins at 7A on Sundays and attending Thursday evening rehearsals is an expectation.

Ministry + Care
Campus Care
This team extends love and care to courageously connect people to Christ and community. Serve opportunities including one on one prayer, ministry support (face to face or via phone) on Sundays and throughout the week, auditorium hosting, baptism coordination and follow up, and facilitating other special events.
*Requirements: interview, church participation within a different serve team for 3-6 months, active participant in small groups

Groups Leadership
This team is made up of passionate Dream Team members who host community on topical discussions or fun activities.
*Requirements: must have consistently attended a group at Courageous previously or have been a Courageous Groups co-leader

Step Up Team
This team conducts one-on-one Meet Ups with individuals who want to start serving at Courageous. They help onboard people onto the Dream Team.
