What you also want to know...
Q: Will I have to be locked into serving every week forever?
No. Some Dream Team members serve weekly but some choose to serve 3 times a month or every other week. We value honest and open communication, so just keep our leaders informed about the rhythms of your life and we'll work it out!
Q: Will I have to be at church all day?
No. You don't have to, but... consider our values. We put Jesus first! This means it's important to prioritize attending church. We also seek to serve, this means we understand the value add that our serve brings to those who attend church. This is why we say we "worship one" and "serve one". Many serve areas are outside of the auditorium, which do not allow you to "attend worship" as you serve. The healthiest church rhythm is to serve, then attend church. Or attend church, then serve the during the next experience.
Q: What time will I have to be there?
Huddle is a BIG DEAL to our church culture! This is essentially our “pre-game” for the day. Huddle starts 45 minutes before the first worship experience. If you're serving first service you'll attend Huddle before your serve. If you serve during a service later in the day, you'll likely "attend" the service prior. Our ask is that you would prioritize attending huddle "before" you attend church so you get updates from your Campus Pastor and connect to your Dream Team community.
Q: Are there any age requirements to serve?
We're a church for the now generation and the next generation! Any one ages 12+ are eligible to serve on the Dream Team.
Q: How do I lead a small group?
Leading a small group starts with being in a small group and joining the Dream Team! If you've never been in a small group before, your next steps will be participating in small groups, learning from existing leaders, and then growing into church leadership! But don't worry, our leaders will help you and answer your questions along the way.
